MGSwitches(美吉仕企業有限公司)之前身--鎂吉工業股份有限公司是台灣開關業界老字號(1964年於台灣台南市創業)。創業初期生產塑膠類產品與數種按壓開關，保險絲座，測試用電筆等數十種產品。1975年因為業務量倍增，遷移至台南市永康區擴廠經營，逐年與台灣，日本，美國客戶開發機車，汽車用開關，1979年增加遊艇用開關與電裝品開發，對於產品防水功能的設計製造更有心得。1999年工廠土地轉投資加油站，公司改組為美吉仕企業有限公司繼續經營服務，除了原有美國，日本市場以外，積極對歐洲市場開發客群，也有豐碩進展。
數十年來堅持以品質及迅速確實的服務立足於業界，2007年開始申請並通過UL安規認證數個系列開關產品，2009年建立並經審核通過ISO9001:2008 (於2019年已更新至ISO9001:2015)。未來會更積極的開發，更精確的設計及更嚴謹的製造來服務國內外的舊雨新知。美吉仕要以更堅強的團隊來提供專業服務，為客戶合作開發各類型相關產品。
